Over the past 12 years I’ve had the privilege to change the lives of people with developmental disabilities. One of the most important things I have learned through my years is to listen to the hopes and dreams of the people we serve, focusing on the individual, and presenting those services in a dignified and respectful manner. My goal was to always provide the highest quality services to people with disabilities, and to advocate on their behalf, so that they may realize their full potential.

I am dedicated to finding the right people to join our dynamic team as well as training them to become the best Direct Support Professionals. I strongly believe that well trained Direct Support Professionals can provide the best quality service, for that reason, we focus our training on our “Person Centered Thinking” . We feel it brings out a full potential in people for helping people we serve have better and more fulfilling lives. I also have a passion for serving others and making a difference in people’s lives. Therefore, I myself, also provide services to individuals with unique needs. I ensure the individuals I provide services to receive all the support and services they need to achieve their fullest potential while feeling a valued member of the community.

Since the age of 18 I have been blessed and honored to work with this population who gives such depth and meaning to my life. The lessons I have learned in life taught to me by the population I serve is irreplaceable. The smiles, laughter and relationships I have been blessed with remind me of how lucky I am as a Nurse to help these individuals thrive. Each and everyone of them remind me daily of the blessings God has given me and I am grateful to my coworkers for their love and support. The admin team along with the persons served give me life and help bring meaning to my life. I have had the pleasure to work with persons with physical, mental and developmental disabilities as a Psychiatric Technician since 2012. It has been a great blessing to be one of the Registered Nurse Consultants at L.I.F.E. since 2018 as it is rewarding to collectively assist our persons served with their individual medical needs and celebrate successes in difficult times. Over the years I have developed a great relationship with our persons served and admire the dedication of all direct support professionals and administration.
